Olaya García

Olaya García has a degree in Geology and a Masters in Geological Hazards. She has more than 10 years of professional experience in geological projects. She has worked in Canada on a mapping and exploration project in the Northwest Territories with Husky Energy and the University of Calgary, and on the landslide hazard assessment of the Minilla Canal (Andalusia).

She completed a fellowship at the Geophysical Centre of the Canary Islands and worked at the Spanish Institute of Oceanography on the Vulcanas project in El Hierro.

She is currently the technical coordinator of the El Hierro Geopark.
